i've been drawing since i was about 12! and my style and feelings about art have changed dramatically since then, and i think they will probably always do that! here are some of my most recent pieces. currently i am experimenting with expressions, color, and looseness/messiness

also for the most part i've been putting garfields that sort of make sense and fit with the topic of the page but i'm literally just obsessed with this picture oh my god look at it anyway scroll past him to see a little gallery of recent pieces

mousecat

mousecat has been a project that is very driven by self-interest, and less with the goal of creating music for other people. but i think there's some merit to having other people being able to listen to art i've created that very genuinely expresses my feelings cleanly without attempting to dress it up for an audience. the music is somewhat primitive because i have little formal music education, but i work passion into it. most are acoustic guitar driven with midi horns overlayed with lyrics that began as poems in my journal. whistlestop is a concept album about a girl just after leaving in-patient therapy. red rover is a more basic approach to an ep, with songs covering a variety of topics such as childhood love and the passing of time. it is often embarrassingly soul bearing to share my music, but it is a different kind of art that i do and therefore i think it is important to display it alongside my illustrative work. stick to my guns! be proud of all my art, yanno.
